I love this country. I love my wife and my daughter. This is such an amazing country. It has been interesting watching the political discourse in this election cycle. I am always fascinated as I watch the candidates give speeches. In one such by Obama, I could almost relate when he said that his is an unlikely story. For someone who landed on these shores a little over a decade ago from the same place as his father years ago, and for someone who had little more than a few hundred dollars in my pocket and a great desire for a chance at that oft mentioned dream, my story too, is one that could only be true in America. I think I can honestly say that it has been, and continues to be a fulfilling life.

I love this country. I love my wife and my daughter. The thought has crossed my mind that I might one day be able to say that my daughter, sharing the same heritage as Obama's, was born in the same year that he was elected to the presidency. And I, being thankful for the opportunity to live in this great country, hope to take the oath of citizenship in the same year he might take the oath of office. Even though my daughter could say she was American before I was, I know that we share America's ideals, and her spirit.

I love this country. I love my wife and my daughter. My wife, she teaches me patience and how to live a full life. A joyous life. I couldn't imagine a better mate to share this time with. Because of her, we can say of our household, that hope is spoken here.
I love this country. I love my wife and my daughter. There's no greater joy than watching my daughter grow and learn new things every day. Watching her play and sing, and laugh. Watching as she learns to touch and stand and bobble. Watching her sleep, as though without a care in the world. I hope that as she grows, she will learn some valuable lessons from our time. I hope that she might find inspiration to set high goals for herself, no matter how idealistic, yet be grounded in a firmness of faith, and be blessed with abundance of God's amazing grace. I hope she learns to always choose the right.
I hope me and my girls can always make the best of the time that we've been given We love this country. We love each other.
