A Portland Celebration for Savannah

I'm not much for traveling these days...Savannah is due in about a months' time. SO, how do you have a baby shower without the mother to be? It seems that my cousin Jessica DeRoest master-minded the perfect plan. She and my mom threw Savannah's shower in Portland unbenounced to me last weekend. SO what an amazing surprise to get cards and a DVD of the baby shower capturing all of the highlights and warm well wishes from family and friends that have known me through the years! It looked like a lot of fun and I wish that I could've been there but with the DVD I feel like I was. :) Thank you to everyone who attended and participated in the surprise. AND a big thank you to Jessica for having the idea and follow-through. I'm so glad that my Mom got the opportunity to share in the fun of celebrating Savannah's arrival and especially with people who love and care about her as well. Love and thanks from Texas! Naomi
