TGIF

On Friday we went to dinner at The Oasis with Brent and Randi who are visiting from Washington.
We all enjoyed the great views and the sunset at the lake (yes, there are lakes in Central Texas).
Savannah does not like car rides, but we did find out that listening to Enya from Naomi's iPhone helps calm her down. So maybe the several months of placing the iPhone over a pregnant tummy while playing music helped.
After dinner we had a fun evening of playing Wii and Phase Ten with our good friends, the Gillooly's. We are learning some good lessons about babies. Michael learned that Savannah may not necessarily be thinking the same thoughts as adults, especially at those moments when you both stare intensely into each other's eyes for minutes on end. You may be thinking that you're both having a profound moment, while she may just be trying to figure the timing for the best moment to let loose a blast of toot. Mama and baby play well together.

This is a beautiful picture of Brent& Randi with the sunset. A wonderful setting, I'm glad the weather cooperated for you.
As I see the pictures of Savannah, and you kids I long to be closer to my family. Please tell Savannah every day that Gramma D. loves her so much! Thank you for the update pictures. Love you, your momma
