Lucky for us we were able to meet up with Uncle Gilbert Otieno in town for lunch on the day of our departure. He is such a busy guy, working and serving others. So we were blessed to squeeze in a couple of hours with him. I look forward to the future when our girls will meet his pride and joy/his daughter. She is only a few months older than Savannah and so I'm sure that they'll be great friends someday.

| We loved spending time with the Nginja's |
We waited til our last day but it was still a priority to stop in and spend a little time with our dear Uncle Nginja (and Eva). Uncle was very very good friends with Dad. In their young years they had hiked from Kenya to Egypt in order to secure visa's to study abroad. The two of them had served in the military there and had many adventures as they opened up opportunities for themselves and their families. Uncle Nginja has been compiling an autobiography detailing their trek and will hopefully be able to finish it very soon. We were also blessed that Eva could sneak away from work quickly and see us as we visited at their home.
