This was no Over the Hill party! Reama planned out a good time to celebrate Fidel reaching this milestone. She arranged for him to be out with friends (car shopping - that always takes awhile) and then put up all of the decorations and welcomed all of the guests. She had the blessing of the Super Bowl being the following day so that was her cover story (to Fidel) for already prepping food and having drinks. He never suspected a thing. It was a lot of fun to see the shock and joy on his face at so many gathered to support him. And Reama did an amazing job of organizing a fun night with nieces in personalized t-shirts, a vast array of delicious food, dancing and even a little program for him. I think that everyone really had a good time and that Fidel especially felt like a king for the night. It was a great occasion and I'm glad that we made the trip.
I have to include the following collage of Reama dancing cause it was just so fun to see her tearing up the dance floor and having a blast. Evidently our video files are too large to upload so this will have to do.
