The girls and I headed down to San Antonio to meet little Gabriella Rose Estrella, my cousin Michelle Cards' daughter. She was just a week old and so so so precious! Savannah and Lexi both loved kissing her, holding her and watching her. Lexi would jabber excitedly while inspecting Gabriella's little fingers and toes. I know that she was just saying how adorable this little girl is. And Savannah was smitten as well (just look at that face as she is holding her by herself). She insisted on holding the baby or as Savannah pronounced her name "Gabbagabba" on several occasions and so we tried to oblige as much as possible.
My girls also enjoyed chasing and petting the doggies there. Michelle and Noe's first kids were Ruby and Roxie, a pug and a little toy terrier breed. Because both dogs are quite small, I had to keep reminding Savannah and Lexi to use gentle hands and be careful around them. Savannah made the common two-year old conclusion that because they are small they are puppies. So then when we returned home to our dogs, she concluded that Tootsie and Brandy were all grown up and this was has become a repetitive conversation from her for some time now.
But I digress...
It was so nice to meet little Gabriella and to see that my sweet cousin is doing well and enjoying being a Mommy. I look forward to making the trip again soon and having our girls all grow up together.

I am very impressed that Michelle let the girls hold that sweet baby. Not that they would hurt her, but I know a lot of first time moms that are very hesitant. Both of your girls will be amazing big sisters some day. Thanks for taking pictures of this sweet baby. I don't think we will be able to meet her for awhile. Next time you see them give the family our love.
Yea! Congrats to them on their sweet new bundle. I'm glad you & the fam have had some great celebrations & time with friends/family. love & hugs to all
