There's always room for one more

We've had the pleasure of hosting many of Michael's siblings and their families this weekend. With Amy in town from Kenya, everyone made the trek to Austin to spend some quality time together. Because everyone was on different schedules, we had the trickle in effect. Reama & Fidel brought Kiki & Kioni with them on Friday night and so we shifted Amy from the guest bedroom into Savannah's room that night. Then on Saturday we did a little shopping after vegging out in the morning. It was really nice to hang out with everyone and get some girl time in with my SIL's. And I know that Amy appreciated having a little more help with shopping because I am not the most fashion-wise person (my words, not hers). That evening Kina & Dwayne drove in and we all went to have dinner at the Oasis restaurant.

  

Sadly the weather wasn't cooperative and so there wasn't much of a view of Lake Travis through the dark clouds but the food was good and the company was fun. That night when we returned to the house we bumped poor Amy again into a bed in Lexi's room where Kiki & Nones were. We joked that she needed to sleep in all of the rooms and have roommates to get a full American experience. lol. She is just so sweet and didn't mind the shifting at all. At this point all of the beds and rooms were at capacity but we still had 2 available couches so technically we could've made room for more if necessary. It was fun having so many Owuor's under the same roof and getting to stay up late to gab or do hair (Reama did some great looking braids for me). I'm really grateful that Amy was with us so that we could have that time with everyone all together and enjoy each others company. It was a relaxing fun weekend and hopefully there will be many more in the future.
